Charlie provides comprehensive portfolio management to high-net-worth clients, providing tax efficient strategies to help maximize after-tax income, preserve and grow his client’s wealth. For over three decades, Charlie has helped manage assets for individuals, trusts, retirement plans, charitable organizations, and businesses. By meeting with clients, Charlie is able to build customized portfolio strategies based on clients’ needs

Background and Experience

Charlie was born and raised in Kansas City, and is a 1979 graduate of Rockhurst High School. He attended Wake Forest University and obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Business in 1983. Charlie began his career in finance in 1985 with E.F. Hutton & Company. For over 30 years, Charlie has helped his clients to determine realistic financial goals and objectives while guiding them through various market conditions.

In 2012, he identified Wells Fargo Advisors as the best fit for his practice and has utilized the broad range of resources available through the firm to help clients achieve their goals. Charlie has extensive knowledge in working with high net worth individuals and businesses.

Away from the office

Charlie spends his free time with his wife of over thirty years, Yeva. They have three adult children, and six grandchildren.
When he isn’t with family, you can find him on the green. He monitors college sports closely, as well as almost every professional sport. Charlie believes in giving back, and is an active participant with Curé of Ars, Abnormal Society, Wake Forest, Christo Rey, and the Evans Scholars Foundation.

Leslie works with individuals and families to help build, manage, preserve, and transition wealth. She strives to solve complex situations and assist clients with meeting their personal and financial goals. With diverse financial experience during the course of her career, through major shifts in the markets, Leslie has dedicated her profession to delivering personalized investment planning services.

Background and Education

Leslie has always had a desire to learn; a passion which developed at a young age. Graduating high school a year early, she left for college at age 16. Leslie knew that she wanted to work with people, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Missouri-Kansas City with a degree in Psychology. After college, Leslie stayed in Kansas City to explore all of the unique qualities the city had to offer. Leslie began her career in Financial Services at the Kansas City Board of Trade in 1998, where she developed fundamental investment knowledge and an understanding of the commodity markets. Wanting to provide her clients with comprehensive and personalized financial advice, she joined Wells Fargo Advisors in 2013 as a Financial Advisor. Leslie is a vital part of integrating the practice and provides efficient practice management and investment monitoring for the team.

Away from the Office

Leslie lives in Prairie Village, Kansas with her husband, Matthew, and their three children, Maliyah, Gracyn, and Miles, along with their dog, Annie, and two 2 cats, Ada & Shelby. She enjoys bouncing between the kids’ dance, soccer, cross country, swimming, and baseball in her free time. Leslie is also a talented musician who sings, plays the guitar and piano. Leslie’s love for music has been passed on to her children as well. Her oldest daughter composes music, sings, and plays the ukulele, guitar, and piano. Leslie volunteers her time every year by traveling to Acuña, Mexico, with the nonprofit organization Casas Por Cristo, where she and her family spend a week building and donating a home to a family in need.

Joe manages portfolios, evaluates liabilities and insurance needs, and utilizes his knowledge as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) to provide individuals, trusts, employers, charitable organizations and businesses the advice to meet their personal and financial goals. Through a full balance sheet approach, his mission is to deliver objective and timely financial advice to assist clients to build and preserve wealth. Although Joe does not provide tax advice, he works with CPAs, attorneys, and utilizes all of Wells Fargo Advisor’s resources available to aid his clients by staying current with tax law and estate plan changes.

Background and Education

Prior to moving his practice to Wells Fargo Advisors in 2011, Joe worked for over 7 years with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Along with nearly 20 years of experience, Joe holds a BBA in both Financial Management & Marketing from the University of North Dakota.

He earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®) professional certification from the College for Financial Planning, where he passed rigorous examinations and met stringent experience requirements. He also met Wells Fargo Advisor’s educational and experience requirements to be designated as a PIM® Portfolio Manager.

Away from the Office

Joe lives in Overland Park and is married to his college sweetheart, Christi. Together, they have 4 boys, Ryan, Noah, Evan and Jace, along with two dogs, Bella and Liv. Outside the office, Joe enjoys coaching his son’s baseball and basketball teams and spending time at their lake home
